In Uttar Pradesh, Union Minster for Urban Development Venkaiah Naidu jointly with Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today laid the foundation stone of Metro project at Kanpur. Noting that India can not develop without Uttar pradesh, Mr. Naidu said that both center and UP government will jointly take measures to develop the state. <br/> <br/>Our correspondent reports that this is a joint project of Union and State government at an estimated cost of over 17000 crore Rupees. The project is proposed to be completed by September 2021. <br/><br/>The joint venture is expected to solve the problem of heavy traffic jam in the industrial city and help in the rapid development of the state.
