The Union Minister and Parliamentary Affairs M. Venkaiah Naidu today inaugurated Bio-toilets in Government Girls inter College in Varanasi. While inaugurating the bio-toilets built under sanitation project, the Union Urban Development Minister appealed to people of Varanasi to take initiative themselves for sanitation works and not be depended on government only.<br/>Speaking on the occasion, <br/><br/>Mr. Naidu said that girls quit school education due to three reasons including law and order, lack of transportation and non-availability of toilets for them. He thanked state government for initiated this project in the girls' school. He also appealed to state government to support the center to make cleanliness drive a mass movement. <br/><br/>Speaking on this occasion, Union Forest and Environment minister Prakash Javdekar said that Government has planned to built four Lakh toilets in those schools where no toilets existed earlier. He said 90 percent of target has been achieved so far.<br/>A set of modern bio-toilets in the Government Girls Inter College, Varanasi is built by a private automobile Corporation.
