Vice President Venkaiah Naidu has emphasised that political ideological differences should be set aside to ensure the development of the nation. He was inaugurating the 173rd Thyagraja Aradhana Music Festival in Thiruvaiyar today.<br />'' <br />'' He pointed out that the basis of Indian culture is the philosophy of 'share and care' and called upon everyone to protect and preserve culture, music, history and engender pride in our country.<br />'' <br />'' Mr. Naidu also said that education should be in mother tongue. He said that mother tongue is the most potent channel of transmission of culture and hence it should be promoted. The Vice President also underlined the importance of regional and local water resources.<br />'' <br />'' Tamilnadu State Tourism Minister Vellamandi Natarajan, Thyaga Brahma Society President G K Vasan and Secretaries Haridwaramangalam A K Palanivel and Srimushnam Raja Rao also attended the function.<br />'' &nbsp;
