Union Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu today called for a wide discussion over the ideological intolerance in the country by so-called intellectuals. <br/><br/>Delivering a talk on why the intellectuals were silent then and violent now, the Minister said the isolated, stray incidents should not be glorified. He said that the opposition sponsored orchestrated campaign against Prime Minster Narendra Modi can't divert the Government from its development agenda. <br/><br/>Terming the present government at the Centre, the most secular one in the history of the country, Mr Naidu said resistance should be constructive and non-partisan manner.<br/><br/>Stating that tolerance is ingrained in Indian genes, the Minister said the sudden rise in intolerance is far from truth. He said the opposition parties have waged an ill-intended campaign against the Government only with an eye on Bihar Elections. <br/><br/>Referring to congress and left parties Mr Naidu said the Political displaced persons are challenging the peoples' mandate which has given Narendra Modi mandate to rule. <br/><br/>Forum for Free Thinkers has organized the talk in Hyderabad this evening and condemned the returning of awards by intellectuals.
