To give push to the National Mission of Housing for All in Andhra Pradesh, Union Minister of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation M Venkaiah Naidu today launched the urban housing project for financially backward people of state. The programme was launched through video conferencing from the national capital at a programme held in Vijayawada. The affordable housing project will be built in G+3 stories across 38 urban spaces in the State.<br/>'<br/>Speaking on the occasion, Mr Naidu said the Centre's "National Mission of Housing for All" project aims to provide shelter to all by 2022. He assured that affordable housing with all amenities will be fulfilled by the Centre with the cooperation of the State government with reduced interest rates to the beneficiaries. Mr. Naidu said the Government has sanctioned more than one lakh 90 thousand houses to Andhra Pradesh and is also inviting FDI in the housing sector. <br/><br/>He said, a decent house is the most fundamental aspiration of every countryman. Mr Naidu added that the Prime Minister's Awas Yojana is a mission which is a corner stone of the NDA government's commitment to inclusive development. The function was also attended by Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N. Chandrababu Naidu.
