Information and Broadcasting Minister M Venkaiah Naidu has asked the central government media units to focus on development activities. Reviewing the working of Central Media Units in Lucknow today, Mr. Naidu said the schemes of union government should be highlighted and should be at the center of their activities. <br/><br/>He said anti social activities, violence and programms aimed at disintegrating the society and negative news should be avoided by public broadcasters. The Minister further said Man Ki Baat programme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a popular programme and DD and AIR should keep it as their priority.<br/><br/>Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also present in the meeting . He emphasized on the use of local languages and dialects in AIR and DD programmes, news and news based programmes.<br/><br/>
