<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu and Kashmir, the vehicular traffic on 300-kilometre long Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH44) remained suspended due to the fresh landslide at Digdol near Iron Stand since last night.<br />'' <br />'' According to Inspector General of Police (Traffic), about 2,500 Heavy Motor Vehicles and 1,000 Light Motor Vehicles are stranded between Digdol and Jawahar Tunnel and about 70 LMVs are stranded in Ramban since last night. <br />''<br />''He said that though the concerned agencies have been busy in clearing the landslide at war footing since early morning, yet it will be very difficult to clear the road for traffic by evening today.<br />'' <br />''Yesterday, after the highway was blocked due to shooting stones at Digdol around 10.30 A.M., the traffic remained disrupted almost for the whole day except for few brief occasions when some stranded vehicles were sporadically allowed to pass through the blocked site cautiously when the road was cleared of debris from half of the road. <br />''<br />''Later, the traffic was resumed partially at around 4 P.M. but at 5.30 P.M., it was again blocked at Karol in Chanderkot near Jaiswal Bridge due to a landslide.</span><br />
