The Government has said today that five thousand 359 private and 67 commercial vehicles have been scrapped between the 1st of January 2022 and the 31st of January 2023 at the Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facilities (RVSFs) set up under Vehicle Scrapping Policy.<br />''<br />''In a written reply in Rajya Sabha, Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said all the RVSFs are private entities.  He added that the Government has not intervened in determining the fair price of vehicles to be scrapped.
