Vayalar Ravi holds talks with B’desh Civil Aviation Minister

Union Minister for Civil Aviation and Overseas Indian Affairs Mr. Vayalar Ravi on Thursday held talks with the Bangladesh Civil Aviation Minister G .M Quader at his office in Dhaka. The two leaders discussed various issues related strengthening co-operation in the civil aviation sector between the two countries. During the meeting the Bangladesh Civil Aviation minister Mr. G.M Quader sought India’s support to give higher training for his country's civil aviation personnel. Mr. Quader also expressed keen interest to share India’s expertise and experience in establishing airports in the light of Bangladesh’s proposed plan to build the mega Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rehman International Airport. Mr. Vayalar Ravi assured the Bangladesh Minister that India is ready to provide expert or technical support to the Bangladesh government in the construction of airports and also support training of civil aviation personnel of Bangladesh.
