<br/>Overseas Indian Affairs Minister Vayalar Ravi has asked Australia to maintain pressure on offenders linked to attacking Indians. Expressing satisfaction over the arrest of a teenager in connection with the murder of Indian student Nitin Garg in Melbourne, he called for continuation of follow up actions. <br/> <br/>Mr Ravi, who is in Australia on an official visit, said attacks against Indian students in Australia have come down and that it has to be improved further. He expressed satisfaction over the arrest of a teenager in connection with the Nitin Garg case. <br/> <br/>A-15 year old Australian boy was today charged with the murder of the Indian student with the police saying there was no racial motive in the killing, which had sent shock waves back home. <br/> <br/>Garg, 21, was stabbed as he walked to work through a park at West Footscray in Melbourne in early January. The Minister said the Indian Government wanted to see the logical ends to such cases. <br/> <br/>Mr Ravi said he also met several federal ministers including Immigration Minsiter Chris Evans and impressed upon them the need to reconsider new laws that may affect thousands of Indian students.<br/>
