Union Shipping Minister GK Vasan today inaugurated the road upgradation works under the Chennai Ennore Port Road Connectivity Project. The project is estimated to cost 600 crore rupees and aims to improve the connectivity of the Chennai port to the hinterland. Speaking on the occasion, Mr G K Vasan said that the project is important for the future development of the Chennai Port and the economic growth of Tamil Nadu. He also said that the project is scheduled to be completed in two years.
