Visits to the various pavilions and signing of Joint ventures between defence equipment manufacturing companies marked the second day of the Defence Expo exhibition in South Goa today.<br/><br/>Defence Minister Manohar parrikar today reiterated that the defence procurement procedure put in place now will once again be reviewed after six months. He was speaking at a symposium organised by ASSOCHAM on Global investors summit on Make in India for Defence Sector in the Defence Expo .<br/><br/>Russian Federation delegation in its interaction with the media said that Russia was in the process of talks with India on technology sharing in the field of submarine,warships and fighter aircrafts. <br/><br/>Bharat Electronics Limited entered into a partnership agreement with Thales company for the joint development of the Pharos fire control radar meant for providing defence against small, fast moving air and surface targets both gun and missile systems. <br/><br/> Later in the evening the Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar will be launching the Sonar Dome designed and developed by DRDO. Sonar domes are used on the hulls of submarines and ships to keep equipment safe and operate as the eyes and ears of the ships. A seminar will be held on the Defence offset: challenges and opportunities.
