Patel Maitri Samiti and Shiva Sangh on Sunday organized a function in New Delhi as a part of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebration on 31st October. <br/><br/>The day marks the 143rd Birth Anniversary of the first Home Minister of independent India Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. <br/><br/>JDU MP R.C.P. Singh, Ashok Kumar Mehta, Sanjay Kumar and other dignitaries were present in the occasion. <br/><br/>Various events will be organised across the country to mark the anniversary. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the main event at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi where he will flag off Run For Unity. About 15 thousand people are expected to participate in the run. <br/><br/>People from all walks of life including ex-servicemen, students, athletes, NYKS volunteers, NSS volunteers, Central Armed Police Forces, Delhi Police will participate in the Run for Unity.
