Expressing concerned over the blast in Varanasi, the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has appealed to all to remain calm and maintain peace. He has asked the Home Ministry for a detailed report on the blast. Later speaking to reporters to media on the sidelines of a function in New Delhi, Dr. Manmohan Singh said that the blast is an attempt to weaken our resolve to fight the evil forces of terrorism. He said that the terrorists will not succeed in this. He also said that the government will do all to provide succor to each one of them and their families.
