In Turkey, ten people were killed and four others injured today after a civilian passenger van hit a land mine on a road near Durankaya in the south-eastern province of Hakkari.According to Turkish Dogan news agency the van was travelling to nearby Ge’itli village when it hit the mine, which was thought to have been laid by members of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK.
