The situation in Kashmir Valley is tense following Fridday's violent clashes between protesters and security forces, in which three people were killed and over 50 persons including 20 police personnel injured. While two people were killed in Sopore, one 15 year old boy died in the firing at Patan in Baramula district. Authorities today imposed curfew in entire Srinagar city and some other towns of the valley. A police station was set on fire and a vehicle was torched during the clashes across the Valley. Meanwhile, security forces smashed a militant hideout and seized a cache of explosives and ammunition in Ramban district. According to Army officials in Jammu, a team of Rashtriya Rifles and Jammu and Kashmir Police seized the cache from the hideout in Kumet forest belt in Bhartund area in Ramban. The recoveries included two Chinese hand-grenades, 35 rounds of ammunition of AK-47 rifle, three kg of explosive powder, an IED circuit and four detonators.
