Vajra Corps starts 4 day Army exercise in Western front

Vajra Corps, a striking corps of the Indian Army and also known as Defenders of Punjab has started four-day Army exercise ‘ASHWAMEDH’ on the Western front, as part of annual formation level training, from today. The exercise involves unmanned aerial vehicles, attack helicopters and frontline fighter aircraft carrying out battle drills in synergy with various corps of the Army. It will also include movement of formations to the tactical battle area and launching an offensive in obstacle ridden terrain.
