Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was today discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences after he underwent a routine check-up of his wind pipe. Sources in the hospital said that the 85-year-old BJP veteran came to the hospital in the afternoon and discharged late in the evening after he underwent a tracheotomy tube revision.
