Vaishali Kasarvalli wife of noted film Director Girish Kasaravalli passed away in Bangaluru on Monday afternoon. A gifted Director, Artist and Costume designer, Vaishali Kasarvalli had acted in more than 100 films and won the National Award for the film Thai Saheba in 1998. Some of the notable films of Vaishali Kasaravalli are Akramana, Yarigu Helbedi, Kittu Puttu, Angaialli Apsare, Kraurya, Hombisilu, Swamy, Thabarana Kathe, Ksheera Sagara, Anukolakkoba Ganda and others. For Akramana she bagged the best actress from state government. Since the last few months, the health condition of Vaishali Kasarvalli was poor and she passed away in a private hospital in Bangaluru on Monday due to kidney failure.
