<span style="color: #222222;">The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has said that the civic administration is conducting the vaccination drive in full swing and at present, 45,000 people are vaccinated daily. However the civic body feels that the number needs to be increased.<br />'' <br />'' It also said that there are around 4 million citizens above 45 years of age in Mumbai and they will be vaccinated in two shifts at 14 centers spread across the Metropolis. The BMC also said that the number of tests is being increased to curb the growing number of Covid-19 patients across Mumbai.<br />'' <br />'' According to BMC at present, 90 per cent of the patients are coming from the highrise and towers. It informed that so far, 40,000 tests have been conducted in Mumbai and the civic body has completed the preparation for another 50,000 tests. Meanwhile it has also informed that it is preparing to complete the vaccination of more than 8 lakh senior citizens above 60 years of age in Mumbai by the end of May. The BMC said that administration is also preparing to vaccinate everyone till May 31<br />'' <br />''<br />''Meanwhile,the BMC is also pondering over to impose weekend lockdown to curb the spread of Covid-19.</span>
