<span style="color: #222222;">In Jharkhand, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has announced that   the vaccination drive for people in the age group of 18 to 44 years  will begin from May 14th  onwards. The vaccination for those aged 18 years and above will be free and the cost will be borne by the State Government.  <br />''<br />''The vaccination drive for the 18-44 years age group could not be launched in the state from May 1 due to shortage of COVID vaccine. Presently the State has a stock of 3.34 lac doses of COVID vaccine to begin the vaccination drive for 18-44 years age people from May 14 onwards free of cost. More than 1.57 crore people of the  state's population fall in this age bracket. In addition to the vaccination drive Chief Minister Hemant Soren has also launched Birsa Jeevan Ayush kits under the Birsa Jeevan Ayush programme to deliver Ayush and Homeopathy medicines to people for primary medication.</span><br />
