Vaccination drive to be considerably improved in Bengaluru, says BBPM Chief

<span style="color: #222222;">The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Chief Commissioner Gaurav Gupta has informed that vaccination drives will be considerably improved in Bengaluru to vaccinate at least 75 percent of people in 45 plus category in a month's time.<br />''<br />''Addressing the media in Bengaluru today,Mr. Gupta said out of 26 lakh people in 45 plus category, 15.43 lakh have already received at least the first dose and out of 64 lakh persons in the age group of 18-44, nine lakh persons have received the first dose. Mahanagara Palike needs 27 lakh doses of vaccine to cover at least 75 percent in 45 plus and 50 percent of population in the 18-44 age category. Mr.Gaurav Gupta also added that IT companies, apartments and other companies have tied up with private hospitals to organise mass vaccination. For the poor, garment workers and construction workers the donor organisations have come forward to organise vaccination.</span><br />
