In Mumbai, the vaccination drive for pregnant women commenced from today. The drive will be held at 35 Vaccination Centres across the city. The Mumbai civic body said that pregnant women are more vulnerable to severe infection of COVID-19 as compared to those who are not pregnant. <br />''<br />''A report<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The incidences of pre-term delivery are also high among pregnant women who are infected with COVID-19. However, the silver-lining is only 10 per cent pregnant women have to be hospitalised if they suffer from diabetes, obesity, prolonged breathing issues, dialysis, heart related ailments among others. The BMC said, 95 per cent pregnant women do not face any complications at the time of their delivery. The civic body said that those women who were earlier infected with COVID and were treated with monoclonal anti-bodies or convalescent plasma then they can take the vaccine after a gap of 12 weeks.</span><br />
