NDA Vice-Presidential candidate M Venkaiah Naidu has written a letter to all MPs seeking their support in election. <br/><br/>In his letter, Mr Naidu assured them that he will defend and uphold the ideals of freedom struggle, the spirit and principles of the Constitution of India including Justice, Equality and Liberty. <br/><br/>Mr Naidu also assured them that he will uphold the dignity of office and protect the collective constitutional inheritance. He said, the Parliament and all the successive governments since Independence have played their part in the Nation taking major strides in different spheres but still there is lot to be done. <br/><br/>He said country facing the challenges posed by terrorism, Climate Change, economic and cultural globalization and the opportunities and disruptions of technology. He said, it shall be his endeavor to facilitate the proper conduct of Rajya Sabha so that all MPs can contribute their best to the making of a new India. <br/><br/>Mr Naidu also underlined the role of Rajya Sabha in enabling social and economic equality alongside the political equality achieved with the adoption of the Constitution.
