<span style="color: #000000;">Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu today paid tributes to great social reformer Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar on his birth anniversary. In a tweet, Mr Naidu said, Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar championed the cause of empowering girls through education. He said, the social reformer promoted widow remarriage and opposed child marriage. The Vice President said, his contribution towards the uplift of women will always be remembered.</span><br />
