The Vice-President Mr. Hamid Ansari has emphasized on greater allocation of funds for higher education. Speaking at the foundation day of the Kolkata University he said that higher education is needed to be kept up in country. He said, higher education in our country must be an arena of choice, not of elimination. Mr. Ansari said that the entire gamut of higher education should be dealing with producing professionals in different fields of technical education for more vocations for the youth.
