V Prez calls upon youth to take inspiration from life of Sri Ramanujacharya & be partners in building discrimination-free society

Vice President, M. Venkaiah Naidu today called upon the youth to take inspiration from the life of Sri Ramanujacharya and be partners in building a discrimination-free society. He said Sri Ramanujacharya's teachings of 'equality and welfare for all', must become the guiding light in the endeavour of building a new India. The Vice President has visited the 216 feet tall Statue of Equality of the bhakti saint Sri Ramanujacharya at Jiva Ashram at Muchhintal near Hyderabad this evening. <br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Stating that the saint synthesised Bhakti, Dwaita and Adwaita with his great wisdom and foresight, the Vice President observed that as a social reformer and a spiritual leader Sri Ramanujacharya left an indelible mark on society. Recalling his ideals, the vice president said centrals schemes like Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, rural sanitation and other initiatives, Mr Naidu said all these programs are inspired by the philosophy of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas' which resonates with Sri Ramanujacharya's  teachings.</span>
