<span style="color: #222222;">Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu has said that Andaman Nicobar Islands is place of pilgrims and every Indian should visit Cellular Jail once in their life. He was addressing a gathering today  at Dr. B.R.</span> Ambedkar Auditorium at Port Blair. He said, as Chairman of Rajya Sabha, he would like to advice all the youth of the country and the Members of Parliament to visit Cellular Jail to know the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters for the freedom of our nation. <br />''<br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Vice President while addressing the gathering said that the Andaman</span> Nicobar Island is very important in context of its strategically location and also for tourism. The Cellular Jail itself described the struggle of our great freedom fighters who were tortured and kept in dark cell. Every Indian including the youth should visit this historic place once in their life. <br />''<br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Venkaiah Naidu said that the Government of India through Islands</span> Development Agency and Niti Aayog has taken a lot of developmental project for Andaman Nicobar and Lakshadweep which will go a long way in coming years. Earlier, the Vice President launched Smart Meter Project of Electricity Department laid foundation stones for Feacal Sludge Treatment Plant, Marine Esplanade and neighbourhood Park.<br />
