V. Narayansamy says, Indian economy remains unaffected in face of Eruozone crisis

The Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office Mr. V. Narayanswamy today said, Indian economy considerably remained unaffected in the face of Eruozone crisis, unlike several other economies. In an interview with All India Radio News on the occasion of the UPA -II government's third anniversary, Mr. Narayanaswamy said, containing terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir was one of the major achievements of Dr. Manmohan Singh government. On the diplomatic front, India 's foreign policy has been highly appreciated by governments across the globe, said the minister.

Mr. Narayanaswamy, however, admitted, certain key reforms could not be pushed through because of compulsions of coalition politics. He expressed confidence, the Congress-led UPA government will complete its second term.
