Army Chief General V. K. Singh has asserted that Indian Army is equipped to face any challenges.
Speaking to media persons after the 122nd Passing out Parade of the National Defence Academy in Pune today, he said bringing in transparency and gearing up the Army for future were the two objectives he had set for himself.
However, he said that this task needs more time to accomplish and a definite progress has begun in this direction.
He clarified that there is no misunderstanding between army and ministry of defence. He also said that it is a proud moment for him to receive the Guard of Honor on the last serving day at NDA where he was trained 46 years ago.
Earlier, the Army Chief was given a colorful and ceremonial Guard of Honor by the 122nd batch of NDA.
