The Uttarakhand Chief Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’has said that the state government would promote young scientists by awarding them one lakh, 50, 000 and 25, 000 rupees each to the first, second and third position holders.<br/><br/>After laying foundation stone of Vigyan Dham at Jhhajhara in Dehradun on Tuesday Dr, Nishank also announced that Intellectual Property Centre and Knowledge Commission would soon be set up in the state.<br/><br/>In order to promote science related activities, he informed that state government had taken decision to set up Science Clubs in all degree and inter colleges, so that a chain of young scientists could be prepared.<br/><br/>CM hoped that construction of Vigyan Dham to the cost of Rs. 8 crore would provide a congenial platform of research work for the scientists world over.
