Uttarakhand government has decided to appoint Sudurvarti Swasthya Sahayaks.<br/><br/>With a view to extending the basic health facilities to each and every person in the remotest areas of the State, it is decided to extend basic medical facilities to such areas as are situated at a distance of 3 Km. from the nearest medical unit in the hilly area, and at a distance of 5 Km. from the nearest medical unit in the plains area in the cases of emergency and natural disaster through SSS.<br/><br/>An official spokesperson told that in case of any emergency and natural disaster in the remote villages, the First Aid facilities through Sudurvarti Swasthya Sahayak would be made available to the people Under Sudoorvarti Sulabh Swasthya Yojna.
