In Uttarakhand, the famous Rajaji National Park was opened to tourists today. The Park has more than 500 animals, 300 species of mammals and birds. The 820 sq. Km. area park spread in three districts of Pauri Garhwal, Haridwar and Dehradun, was closed during the monsoon season on 15th June. Park Officer D.P.Uniyal said the park administration has taken various steps to provide better facilities to the visitors.He also said the Park administration is going to provide eco-friendly and comfortable petrol-run special safari Gypsy vehicles for the tourists to enjoy the flora and fauna of the park.
