In Uttarakhand, the portals of Kedarnath temple have been closed in Rudraprayag district today for the winter. According to reports, on the auspicious occasion of Yam Dwitiya, the doors of the shrine in Garhwal Himalayas were closed amidst chanting of vedic slokas.
