In Uttarakhand, the process of nomination has begun from 11 in the morning for all seventy Assembly seats today.State Electoral Office has made elaborate arrangements through the District Electoral Officers across the state.According to Chief Electoral Officer Radha Raturi, for the first time the candidates can file their nominations at the block and Tehsil Offices in Dehradun, Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh, Nainital, Champawat, Almora, Bageshwar and Udham Singh Nagar.As per reports about half a dozen nomination forms have been taken by the candidates since morning.The last date for filling the nomination is January 12.So far Bhartiya Janta Party and regional parties like Uttarakhand Kranti Dal have released first list of candidates.The State will go to polls on 30th of this month.
