Uttarakhand govt to start Char Dham Yatra from 1st July

<span style="color: #222222;">Uttarakhand government will start Char Dham Yatra from 1st  July, however, only pilgrims from the state would be allowed to visit the shrines.  <br />'' <br />'' Uttarakhand Chardham Devasthanam Board today issued a standard operating procedure for Chardham Yatra and fresh guidelines for the pilgrims amid novel coronavirus spread across the country.<br />'' <br />'' The Chardham Yatra, which includes a visit to the Kedarnath temple, attracts lakhs of tourists and devotees every year from across the country and abroad.<br />'' <br />'' According to guidelines, E-pass will be issued to the residents of the state only. It will be valid only for darshan at the shrine.<br />'' <br />'' People from containment, buffer zones and quarantine centres within the state will not be allowed the pilgrimage.<br />'' <br />'' Pilgrims should avoid meeting senior citizens and children below 10 years during their visit to Shrine.<br />'' <br />'' Pilgrims are strictly advised not to touch any idol, during the visit to temple. It will be mandatory to wear a face mask, carry hand sanitizer and maintain social distancing.<br />'' <br />''<br />''Pilgrims need to upload and carry ID proof, photo of the applicant, and medical document such as chronic disease.   </span>
