Uttarakhand Government has permitted pilgrimage for the residents of the state from today for the Char Dham namely Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri shrines. This comes with few restrictions as per standard operating procedure or SOP. AIR correspondent reports that the SOP mentions every pilgrim must carry identification and address proof. Anyone from the containment zone or buffer zone will not be allowed to visit any shrine.<br />'' <br />''According to officials, arrangements have been made for 600 devotees to stay at Badrinath and 50 pilgrims for stay at Kedarnath. A health check-up of pilgrims will be carried out at Rudraprayag and Chamoli.<br />'' <br />''Officials added that e-pass will be issued only to Uttarakhand residents. The pass will valid for one time.  SOP suggests pilgrims should avoid meeting senior citizens and children below 10 years.<br />'' <br />''Moreover, pilgrims are strictly advised not to touch any idol. Meanwhile, till Tuesday evening, none registered for the pilgrimage. Besides, temples in Nainital and Jageshwar Dham in Almora has also opened today for the visitors.</span><br />
