Uttarakhand Gets Boost with 6,900 Crore Road Projects, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari Inaugurates 38 National Highway Projects

Union Road, Transport, and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for 38 National Highway road projects in the state today.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">In Champawat district, Shri Gadkari laid the foundation stone for 8 National Highway road projects worth more than Rs 2,200 crore in the district, at Tanakpur today.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">On this occasion, the Union Road Minister stated that the Central Government has approved an amount of Rs 1 lakh 40 thousand crore for the construction of better roads in Uttarakhand, with plans to increase it to Rs 2 lakh crore by the end of this year.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">He emphasized that all National Highways to be built in Uttarakhand will adhere to international standards.
