Forest Fire in Kumaon and Garhwal regions of Uttrakahnd has been contained to a large extent. Efforts to control fire blaze in large area is being carried on war footing. <br/><br/>More than 10,000 personals of different departments along with locals have been deployed to douse the fire. More than 2000 hectare of land has been affected due to fire. <br/><br/>The fire has been controlled in most part of the affected areas. The fire in the the worst affected areas of districts Nainital and Pauri has been controlled. The weather department has predicted rain in state today, which would come as a big relief for the state. <br/><br/>Meanwhile Governor Dr.KK Paul yesterday brief Prime Minister about forest fire related issues over telephone. The Prime Minister assured that that Central Government will provide all assistance to fight the fire.
