Uttarakhand continues to be engulfed by cold wave

Cold wave conditions continued to prevail in Uttarakhand. Power and water supply have been affected in Pithora and Chamoli districts. AIR correspondent Raghav Pandey reports that Himalayan State Uttarakhand is experiencing cold wave conditions with frost at Nainital, Ranikhet, Musoori and at several other places besides intence cold, fog in the morning and evening has disrupted normal life at several places in Udhamsingh Nagar and Haridwar. Northern Railway has cancelled Janata Express train from Dehradun to Varanasi due to foggy weather for a month from today. Meanwhile, weatherman predicts that the sky will remain clear and sun shine will remain during the day throughout the state.
