Senior BJP leader and Uttarakhand Chief Minister B C Khanduri has asked the Election Commission to probe the reportedly large number of undelivered postal ballots. He has asked the Commission to look into undelivered postal ballots which he claimed were around 50 per cent. However, State Chief Electoral Officer Radha Raturi said, only 25 per cent of the one lakh postal ballots received, were returned undelivered.Meanwhile, Senior Congress leader and party’s state Vice President Suryakant Dhasmana has asked the Election Commission to appoint separate observers for counting of postal ballots in each constituency of the state.
