The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Wednesday announced two-years child care leave for the women employees of the state government. In addition to it, the CM also announced to construct a girls hostel in each Sub Division situated in the remote areas of the state with a view to promoting the girls education. He was addressing a programme organized in Dehradun on the occasion of completion of four years by the present state government. With a commitment to implementing Atal Khaddyanna Yojna effectively in the state, Dr. Nishank said that there will not be any shortage of ration at cheaper rate to the APL families under this scheme; and they would be provided 10 Kg Wheat and 10 Kg rice at cheaper rates. The Chief Minister also announced to provide a 24-hour toll-free service for medical-consultation.
