In Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna on Sunday allocated portfolios to his cabinet colleague. Veteran minister Indira Hridyesh, who is already parliamentary affair minister, would also look after Finance, trade tax, stamp and registration, protocol and few other departments. State Congress chief and minister Yashpal Arya has been allocated Revenue, Disaster Management and rehabilitation including Irrigation and few others. The Chief Minister himself kept over two dozen important portfolios including Information, Power, PWD, Forest and higher education with himself.AIR correspondent reports that after winning the crucial trust vote earlier this week, Mr. Bahuguna held a meeting on Saturday with party high command to discuss portfolio allocation for ministers of the newly sworn in the state.
