<span style="color: #222222;">Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a virtual rally for voters in Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar of Uttarakhand today. Addressing the voters, the Prime Minister said that this election would play an important role in making this decade tof Uttarakhand. He said these elections would also strengthen the foundation of the state for the next 25 years.<br />'' <br />'' Mr. Modi said he has a special relationship with the state and that although he lives in Delhi, Uttarakhand remains in his heart and he understands the sentiments and needs of the people of the state.<br />'' <br />'' Mr. Modi said that under the BJP government, focus is being given to infrastructural development in the state due to which the distance between Delhi and Dehradun has lessened. He assured that through Parvatmala Project, roads will be upgraded, and temples and dhams will be joined by ropeways. These new and upgraded facilities will bring in more tourists to the state.<br />'' <br />'' Listing achievements of the Government, Mr. Modi said that earlier small farmers were ignored, but now all farmers are being benefitted through programs like PM Kisan Nidhi. He added that in Udham Singh Nagar and other areas, infrastructure and new clusters are being built, keeping in mind the demand and needs of small farmers. Mr Modi said that marketing and branding facilities are also being provided to small farmers. He said that the current government has paid a lot of attention to organic farming in the state. He said that one of the important achievements of the government has been promoting organic-chemical free farming on 5km on either side of Ganga which will benefit farmers of the state.<br />'' <br />'' He told the people that the first Digital University was announced by their Government and it would benefit hill states like Uttarakhand. The Prime Minister assured that now youth of the state wouldn't be forced to migrate to bigger cities in search of employment. He informed that to give equal opportunity to all, technical and medical education is now available in Hindi and regional languages. He said the youth of the state understands what progress looks like and is supporting the double-engine government of the state.<br />'' <br />'' Mr. Modi said that BJP is trying to take the country into the future, but Congress is trying to push the country back into 20th century. He accused Congress of engaging in politics of appeasement. He appealed to the people to vote for BJP for the development of Uttarakhand.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, Congress's National Spokespersons Prof. Gaurav Vallabh and Dr. Ragini Nayak addressed the media in Dehradun today. They accused the BJP Government of not having done enough for the state in employment, education, and crime against women. They said that Congress party's Chardham- Charkaam slogan and manifesto Uttarakhandi Swabhiman have been popular with the voters.</span>
