Uttar Pradesh reports sharp decline in COVID-19 cases

<span style="color: #222222;">In Uttar Pradesh, there has been a sharp decline in covid infection as per the official data. First time after more than 45 days the number of new covid patients in state is less than 10 thousand. AIR correspondent reports that total 9391 new cases were found in last 24 hours in a state. This number is almost 29000 less than the highest number during the peak of second wave of covid-19 in state on 24th April when total cases in one day were around 38 thousand. In last 24 hours more than 23 thousand patients have recovered from this deadly virus.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Currently state has around 1.5 lakh active COVID-19 cases, which is almost half of the cases at the peak time of second wave in state. In state capital Lucknow where 40 days back the number of new cases were around 6 to 7 thousand yesterday only 517 new cases were found. Overall 52% decrease has been registered in the number of covid cases in last 18 days. Recovery rate has been increased to 89.8 percent in a state. </span><br />''  <br />
