In Uttar Pradesh, the State Government is taking all steps to contain the Covid-19 infection along with continuous augmentation of health and medical facilities. It is for the first time in Uttar Pradesh, the number of recovered patients were more than the fresh cases found in a day yesterday.<br />''<br />''Yesterday, the state witnessed four thousand 186 fresh cases  while four thousand 376 more patients were recovered from the virus. However, the state also reported a record 69 Covid-related deaths, taking the state death toll to two thousand 515. According to the Health Department, the total active cases in the state stood at 50 thousand 893 while one lakh, four thousand 808 people have recovered.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">As of now, the total number of Corona cases in the state has reached 1,58,216. Lucknow still remained the main  hot-spot of the state with the highest 595 fresh cases found yesterday, followed by 429 in Kanpur, Varanasi 198 cases, Ballia 154 and Prayagraj 144. Presently, there are a total seven thousand 233  active cases in Lucknow while in Kanpur active cases are four thousand 435. Taking eight fresh deaths yesterday the total fatality reached 217 in Lucknow, while in Kanpur with 10 deaths yesterday the toll rose to 309, which is highest in the state. '</span><br />
