In Uttar Pradesh, on the Etah bus accident issue three officers including Additional Road Transport Office(ARTO) of the district have been suspended by the state government. The officers were suspended for their negligence in their duties. The Additional Transport Commissioner of State Gangaphal told AIR that the district's Additional Road Transport office (ARTO) J P Gupta has been suspended for carelessness in his duties. <br/><br/>He said that ill fated bus carrying children was plying without proper permission and it was duty of the officer to check such issues in their area. The Additional Transport Commissioner said that further investigations are on and some other officers might be punished for their negligence in their duties. The Education department has also suspended two block level education officers on the same ground of negligence in their duties.<br/> <br/>According to district admisntration both block level officers failed to check the school is running in their area without requisite official recognition from the education department.The police has also registered two FIRs against the school management and the truck driver in two different police stations.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, the police circle officer reiterated that thirteen people including 12 children and one drive r had lost their lives in this accident and about 30 are being treated in different hospitals. <br/><br/>
