In Uttar Pradesh, day-long ?Digi Dhan ?Mela ?is being organised by central government and the financial institutions in Meerut today. Through such Melas, common people? are motivated? towards higher usage of digital transactions by offering incentives? like Lucky Grahak Yojana for Consumers and Digi-Dhan Vyapar Yojana for Merchants.<br/><br/>Citizens ?are also offered help in opening bank accounts, linking mobile numbers to accounts, Aadhar enrolment, Aadhar updates, seeding Aadhar with bank account numbers etc. The mela also offer?s? training to auto and taxi drivers and farmers to accept online payments via the newly launched BHIM app. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that the Digidhan Mela ?in Meerut is being organised at Cahudhary Charan Singh University campus Governor Ram Naik will inaugurate the Mela this afternoon. Besides, union MSME minister Kalraj Mishra and MOS agriculture Sanjiv Balyan is also scheduled to attend the Mela.
