<span style="color: #222222;">In Uttar Pradesh, several community radios are playing important role in preparing the local public in the fight against COVID-19. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports, the community radios in far flung areas of Uttar Pradesh are nowadays running different types of shows through which they are making general public well-informed about the deadly virus COVID-19. One such radio is 'kisan Community Radio' based in Basti district. Station Manager Atul Shukla told AIR that they are updating their audience regularly with COVID-19 specific news and appealing them to download Aarogya Setu app.<br />'' <br />'' Another community radio, Radio Badayun also runs phone in programmes related to COVID-19 along with other entertainment programmes. Gajendra Singh associated with Radio Badayun told AIR that they regularly listeners with the announcements of the District Administration and also run news of All India Radio so that authentic news should reach to the public. He said that to clear the doubts of general public they run recorded and live interviews of doctors and health experts. As per the Data of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting as many as 40 community radio stations are functioning in state and during the period of Lockdown they have become a vital source of information related to Coronavirus.</span><br />''  <br />
