<span style="color: black;">Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday laid the foundation stone of Sainik School in Gorakhpur. The School, to be built in Gorakhpur Fertilizer Complex, will be the 5th Sainik School in the state. Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development projects of over Rs. 187 crore.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">In his address, the Chief Minister said that the Gorakhpur Sainik School is an innovative attempt to connect the youth of Eastern Uttar Pradesh with military endeavor. He said that the Central Government in the Budget of 2021-22 had announced opening of 100 new Sainik Schools in the country and this Sainik School is part of the same. He also said that a Sainik School will come up in each of the Commissionerates of the State.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">The Chief Minister said that special emphasis is being laid on the development of infrastructure in the state. He said that once there used to be only one medical college in eastern UP, but now medical colleges are coming up in Deoria, Kushinagar, Siddharthnagar and Basti districts. Mr. Adityanath emphasised that the state government is committed to improve road connectivity and for this various Expressways including Purvanchal Expressway, Gorakhpur Link Expressway, Bundelkhand Expressway and Ganga Expressway are coming up in the state.</span><br />
